Wendy Choo

Wendy leads the Volunteer Service Abroad International Development and Insights work, making sure what we do is informed by evidence and learning.

As VSA's International Development and Insights Manager, Wendy's job is to ask "how are we making a difference?" and help find the answers. It’s a question that started for her years ago while volunteering in Laos.

That experience led her from teaching in schools and universities to focusing entirely on international development. She’s focused on connecting the dots between data, stories, and real-world impact to help VSA and its partners create sustainable change.
