I am a Solomon Islander, part Kiribati, born and raised in Honiara, the capital. I graduated from the Solomon Islands National University in 2019 and have worked with Solomon Islands Red Cross, World Vision, and the Ministry of Health and Medical Services.

I came to know VSA in 2021 when I was casually working as an admin support, and later in 2022, I got the opportunity to sign a contract to work as a local VSA volunteer during the Covid outbreak, supporting the Ministry of Health and Medical Services.

I officially joined VSA in March 2024 and was so excited to be part of this amazing team as I already know most of the in-country volunteers and the tasks of my new job.

As a young enthusiast in community development, I would like to see more development through volunteering support reaching out to communities in remote areas.

I really appreciate the ongoing support from the volunteers to our partner organisations through knowledge integration and capacity building delivered from each assignment, and I look forward to supporting them to achieve the aim of ‘connecting people – transforming lives'.

Give Today. Strengthen Tomorrow.

When you donate to VSA, you're helping communities across the Pacific build the skills and knowledge they need to shape their own futures.

Your contribution supports experienced volunteers working alongside local people – strengthening healthcare, education, climate resilience, livelihoods, and more. It’s about practical support, real partnerships, and long-term impact.

Every donation, big or small, helps create stronger, more self-reliant communities.
