Jacqueline is a former VSA volunteer working for the Samoan Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (Biosecurity Samoa). In combined e-volunteering and in country role for four years. I thoroughly enjoyed my role which was varied and incredibly rewarding.


She has previously served on national and international committees to drive and lift employment standards across the New Zealand’s horticulture, Recognised Seasonal Employer (RSE) scheme.


Based in Wellington/Poneke, Jacqueline works at the Ministry for Primary Industries, in Biosecurity as manager of the pest management animals’ team, with a focus on animal pests of National significance to New Zealand’s natural and primary productive environments. She also has over 20 years in experience in the Government sector including, operational strategy, operational planning, governance, and auditing export pathway systems.


Based in Wellington/Poneke, Dana now works at the National Emergency Management Agency managing a team focused on social and community resilience. She has previously held roles as a Ministerial Private Secretary, Technical Advisor on a Pacific Disaster Risk Management Programme, and leading on national emergency management planning and policies.
