Angela joined VSA in September 2024, bringing her extensive experience in marketing, communications, fundraising, membership and partnerships to the VSA whānau. Angela was brought in as the interim Marketing, Communications and Fundraising Manager and led the team while a review and then recruitment of team roles took place.

Following the departure of Dr Philippa Smales in February 2025, Angela was appointed as Director, Stakeholder Engagement and is very excited to lead the talented Stakeholder Engagement team and, as part of the Senior Leadership Team, to contribute to the strategic shifts as part of VSA's next 5-year strategy.
