Who we are
Te Tūao Tāwāhi- Volunteer Service Abroad (VSA) is New Zealands largest and most experienced volunteering agency working within international development. We partner with businesses, governments and organisations located here and abroad to send volunteers on overseas assignments. Our volunteers share their skills, experiences, and knowledge directly with local people and communities to make real, sustainable change.

 What you will bring 

  • 2-3 years’ experience in a People Advisory or Coordinator role ideally within a not-for-profit organisation  

  • Sound understanding of NZ employment legislation  

  • Experience leading recruitment, onboarding, health and safety, learning and development and people management processes  

  • Strong communication, empathy, and conflict resolution skills 

  • The ability to interpret data and provide insights to support decision-making 

  • A collaborative, proactive approach and a genuine passion for supporting people
