Save the Children has been working in Solomon Islands in since 1986 at the community, provincial and national levels to support and strive for the attainment of children and young people’s rights. The Save the Children Solomon Islands Country Office is based in Honiara, and has three provincial field offices in Western, Choiseul and Malaita Province. It is managed by a Country Director, who is supported by a Senior Programmes Manager, Head of Finance, Logistics and Admin Manager, Human Resources Manager and Area Coordinator. This makes up the Country Management Team. In total there are approximately 50 staff and more than 200 volunteers in the various communities.

The Solomon Islands Country Office is overseen by a team in Australia, which has a board that is responsible for providing strategic direction and making sure Save the Children performs to the best of its ability.
