Share your skills and experience and support communities in the Pacific from Aotearoa New Zealand, as an e-volunteer

If you need to stay in Aotearoa New Zealand or aren’t able to travel overseas, VSA has an e-volunteering programme. This provides you with an opportunity to volunteer online, providing support and building the capacity of organisations from Aotearoa New Zealand, creating positive change in communities across the wider Pacific.

As an e-volunteer you have the flexibility to carry on with your daily life, family and work responsibilities. And of course, there is no issue with COVID-19 and border closures.

You can experience another culture without leaving home and develop your career (it looks great on your CV!).

E-volunteering means you can learn more about what it is like to be an international volunteer and be better prepared if you decide to apply for an overseas  opportunity in the future.

VSA e-volunteer assignments are focused, short-term, mainly part-time and flexible (starting at 12 weeks).

All e-volunteers complete a pre-assignment briefing along with culture training, and you’ll be supported throughout the assignment.

There are also opportunities to network with other VSA e-volunteers.
