About the Organisation
The Office of the Auditor General (OAG) of the Solomon Islands supports the Auditor General to fulfil their mandate by providing the necessary staff and resources to do so. Established by the Solomon Islands Constitution 1978, the OAG's vision is to ensure accountability and transparency in the public sector for the people of the Solomon Islands. 

About the Assignment
This is an e-volunteer assignment working from home for a minimum of five hours per week.  The OAG is seeking the support of a Staff Capability and Development Adviser develop  a training strategy. The Staff
Capability and Development Adviser will also:
  • Work closely with the Manager Corporate Services to build her capacity in determining staff training and development needs while strengthening her ability to identify opportunities for further learning and development; and
  •  Support the Manager Corporate Services in the development of resources for tracking and reporting, identifying successes and challenges, and addressing issues in a timely manner.
About the Volunteer
We are looking for a volunteer with the following background:
  • Experience in developing training frameworks;
  • Experience in staff development;
  • Experience in mentoring and coaching; and
  • Understanding the Solomon Islands context
