“International Volunteer Managers Day” is a mouthful – but that’s appropriate, given the size of the job our Country Programme Managers (CPMs) do.
VSA has six CPMs working all around the Pacific to create and build relationships with local partners and governments, provide professional and pastoral care for our volunteers, alongside the myriad other things that get thrown their way every day.
November 5 is the day to give special thanks for the work they do – with this year's theme being "One Job, Many Hats". VSA’s annual Congress is being held in Wellington on the same day, and we’ll be taking a moment to send aroha across the Pacific to all of them, and the team in Wellington they work with.
Kei whea kē mai te pai o te mahi nei!
