The National Library of Cambodia (NLC) originally established in 1924 by the French colonial administration, and re-opened in 1980 after the Khmer Rouge genocide, is currently struggling to improve its services with a small number of professionally qualified staff and scarce resources.
The NLC is looking for an experienced Library Adviser to mentor and support its staff to use a newly installed electronic library system, to publish a National Bibliography of Cambodia and to improve the content of its website. This is a two-year assignment and basic furnished accommodation is provided by VSA.
